Christmas Caroling at Atria Senior Living
On Sunday, October 7, St. Francis Episcopal Church held an animal blessing.
Almost a dozen dogs, a pair of goats, and a guinea pig were blessed by Reverend Frank Edmands.
A trapped and alarmed stray kitten was also blessed before being transported to a local farm to be released.
The afternoon was hot and steamy, but refreshments and a small kiddie pool set up behind the congregation
under the shade kept everyone and their pets cool.
